Charles Town Classic Stakes
The city of Charles Town is located in Jefferson County, West Virginia. It is home to a flourishing horse racing community, and everyone has been waiting in anticipation for the latest addition to the Charles Town horse racing schedule, namely the inaugural running of the Charles Town Classic Stakes. With a tempting tiered purse up for grabs, and the opportunity for older horses to shine, big names in racing have entered their horses for this magnificent event, and on Saturday, the 18th of April 2009 ten worthy competitors will enter the starting gates. more
