When golf pops into peoples mind it is safe to say that more often than not they are not thinking about the social elements of it at all, believe it or not there are a lot of people out there that will go and play together and this is fantastic. Going along with fellow golfing buddies is great because you get that competition that people really enjoy taking part in. Although this is usually just a bit of fun it is safe to say that people sometimes place wagers on whether or not they are going to win and more friendly bets can be taken across. Do make sure that you do not take things too far with too much money as it will get silly.

Make sure that if your children want to go out and play golf that you take them out to teach them, it is a really good learning experience for both parent and child. When you are teaching the child how to play it is pretty good fun too. If your child really likes the game and starts to play properly then you may find that they are the ones teaching you.

This is a fantastic area to spend time after you have completed a round of golf and this is because you can sit and have a drink or perhaps a meal and have a bit more of a laugh with the people that you played the game with. There are loads of things you can do in the clubhouse and more often than not there will be things like quizzes to do too.

So there you have it, golf is a lot more social than you might first think, charge up those a golf trolleys.
