Pakistan vs Australia 2010 Edgbaston 2nd T20 – pakistan batting part three of four

In the recent twenty20 cricket series of Australian versus Pakistan, held in England, Pakistan beat Australia 2-0. Even though Pakistan won the tournament 2-0 there had been an interruption in the 2nd international match in Edgbaston. Plastic bottles and plastic bottle openers were thrown at Australian players while the game was going on. This is a shameful thing to do whoever did it needs to be punished, I am sure if they had kitchen accessories or tableware in their hands, they would have probably thrown that too. What were they thinking? May be they didnt realise they team were winning.

Pakistan is emerging with new talents in the likes of Umar Akmal who has looked very impressive in last 12 months. The boy has class written all over him. Dont forget about his older brother Kamran Akmal who is a blast from the past and can hit the ball as hard as anyone. Mohammed Aamer is another classy left handed bowler after the likes of Wasim Akram and the kid is only 18. Pakistan have a very strong bowling line up if they are fit though with Shahid Afridi, Saeed Ajmal, Mohammed Aamer, Mohammed Sami, Shoaid Akhtar and Umar Gul.

When you are in the ground and looking forward to a great game of cricket in fantastic weather why do fans need to be violent, this is upacceptable and no one should do this? It is a shame for the game that these types of fans are allowed in the cricket stadium. This will give everyone a bad name.

The Australian players didnt make much fuss out of it and got on with the game. They are a good team as they have shown in the final two one day international games against England although they lost. Captain Ricky Ponting has said that the biggest series to win is the Ashes and they are fully focused for Ashes. It is going to a great series. I am already looking forward to the winter and this series.
