Is there really a better time to take a holiday here in the UK, I dont think so and for these reasons alone. I really do think that these reasons are behind why so many people will be taking a break it Britain this year.

The Ash Cloud

This rather annoying ash cloud has really gotten a lot of people down in the UK because they have been unable to fly to the destinations that they want to go to, this is going to carry on throughout the whole of the summer. This really leads on to the question, is it really worth the risk in doing it all? Unless you have insurance I really do not actually think that all of this is worth it all, you will not get your money back. If this doesnt happen you will find that you are going to be missing out on the cash you spent.

Exchange Rates

Exchange rates have started to fall a lot and this has got to be down to things like the new coalition. Currently the dollar is sitting at 1.4 compared to the British pound and this is very bad indeed so it may actually be worth holding off on that summer break away to foreign lands this year and heading off to somewhere a bit more closer to home.

Interesting Things

There are many interesting things that can be done in Britain and they range from things like hotels in Devon to Spa breaks and bowls holidays. There are things that appeal to people of all ages from theme parks to relaxing breaks away for just the two of you.

One of the main things you should not do is forget Britain when it comes to taking a trip away, it could be that you really enjoy it.
