World Cups Best Selling Products

Author: Now that the World Cup is over let us remind ourselves that this was the first World cup ever to be hosted in an African soul, and 4 years later we will be in Brazil. Vuvuzela was definitely one of the biggest selling items in the World cup in South Africa even though there were complaints from people about the noise. Alcohol and flowers are up in the top 5 as well. Promotional merchandise of countries participating in the tournament was also not far behind. Many flowers business made a lot of profit by having send flowers online service which people can use and send their loved once back home.
At the start of the tournament people wanted vuvuzelas to be banned because all they could hear inside the stadium was vuvuzela, even the players were complaining but vuvuzelas didnt get banned, they brought vuvuzelas that made less noise than the previous and the tournament carried on in South African manner. The complaint vanished after few days and everyone started enjoying other than complaining. Almost every single African fans had vuvuzela in their hand, singing and dancing. The atmosphere around the whole continent was fantastic let alone just South Africa.
Alcohol and football connection goes for a long time. Especially when it comes to going to a hot country, even though it was winter there the weather was still warm for us Britishers. Its just that our National team cannot play football. Alcohol were certainly one of the most top sellers during the World Cup in South Africa.
There were some people who even got married at the World Cup. I feel this is definitely one of the best time to propose to your love if she or he is there with you of course. You will be surrounded in great atmosphere and a lot of people would be happy. I met a few couples in the plane while travelling to South Africa, who ended up getting married there and I went to their ceremony. I was not able to find wedding flowers so I had to turn birthday flowers into wedding flowers and presented them with best of wishes. Even though noone knew eachother, fans from different countries came to the ceremony as well to congratulate them.
So alcohol, vuvuzela and flowers are certainly at the top 5 best sellers in South Africa.
