There Are A Lot Of Things To Do At Arundel

Author: One of the first things that has to be mentioned is that Arundel is a market town and civil parish within the south downs of West Sussex. It is famous for its Sussex cottages which is one of the main reasons people visit the town.

The History Of Arundel Castle
Arundel castle was founded by Roger de Montgomery on Christmas Day 1067 and he became the very first person to hold the earldom of Arundel by the graces of William the Conqueror. The castle was built and then later damaged during the time of the English civil war, they managed to restore it to its former glory in the 18th and 19th centuries.
